Hosted by NZs only permanent Obstacle Park the Wairua Warrior is the biggest event in the OCR calendar. Over 500 competitors, 8 races, over 50 separate obstacle and 4 distances including 2.5km for the Minis (8-13 inclusive).

Elites from all over NZ including local athletes can compete in 3, 5, or 10km and this year they can enter our trifecta.

The 5km and 10km are here for anyone else 14+. The Open races are for those who like challenge and lots of fun. Teams can rally some friends, get dressed up and do something fun at the weekend.

The Park is available for group bookings all year round and we open up once a month for anyone to come, test their skills and have a play. This is a brilliant introduction to a sport that encourages you to let out your inner child whilst jumping, swinging, climbing, and this is the best place to be a part of it. Full of fun and camaraderie, laughter and challenges. This is our fastest growing, and now Olympic, sport and we'd love you to join us.
