We’re excited to announce that the Nelson Regional Development Agency (NRDA) is partnering with Circularity to bring its award-winning XLabs NZ circular economy program to Nelson this coming August, focused on the Future of Food.

Our current food systems contribute 34% of global greenhouse gas emissions, shifting to a circular food economy could help reduce the sector’s GHG emissions by 49%, or 5.6 billion tonnes of CO2, by 2050.

If we do this, the potential of Aotearoa's food industry and global leadership is boundless.

That is why, we are inviting organisations across the food and beverage ecosystem to come together to make the shift from linear to circular at our XLabs: Future of Food 2024 program which includes our flagship self-directed online course in designing for the circular economy, webinars, in-person 3-day design sprint in Nelson and pitch presentation to potential funders and stakeholders.
