Your guide to events in Nelson, New Zealand
Wednesday 1st May-Wednesday 19th June 2024
It's a myth that tai chi is only for the elderly. Tai chi is a form of self-defence and by practising tai chi you can learn to overcome different forms of attack.
Lessons
You will learn movements from the Yang Style 108-move tai chi form, qi gong and meditation techniques.
Whether you're a complete beginner or have some prior knowledge, Tracy will guide you through the gentle movements and help you find your inner balance.
Tai Chi promotes relaxation, improves flexibility, and enhances overall well-being. It's a great way to reduce stress, increase mindfulness, and improve your posture.
Tracy Allan has been practising tai chi for almost 20 years. She draws on a range of experiences from Buddhist meditation retreats in the UK and in Nelson, and a silent yoga retreat in Rishikesh, North India.
"We have improved in flexibility, strength, balance, and well-being. Our teacher Tracy provides an excellent calm environment with instructions always very clear, her explanations help us understand Tai Chi. We feel both relaxed and energised after each class. I highly recommend you give it a go" - Student ERRV
