Ministry of Inspiration

A South Island based charity whose purpose is to engage youth (5-18) through hands on, inspirational educational opportunities.

Our purpose is to promote STEAMS education as a cross-disciplinary approach to any topic.
• to build STEM skills and confidence
• to embed learning in Arts and Societal Issues problem solving
• to bring deeper thinking to STEM
• to be open to creativity and to pepper studies with thought-provoking ethical issues we see all around us
• to support youth of all abilities, and their educators.

We offer a number of Events throughout the year:

Annually:
• Our flagship event is INSPIRE – a multi-day festival for upper primary to senior age students.

Four times a year:
• Holiday camps - 3 days long, aimed at 6-12 year olds, taught by college students
Run on occasion during term time:
• Quizzes – once a term – alternating for senior and intermediate age
• Aquabots – runs in schools during term time – usually one day per school plus regional competition

Weekly:
• STEAMS school – during school, one day a week
• Science class – after school once a week
