Riverside Cafe is part of the thriving Riverside Community; the oldest intentional community in NZ, established in 1941.
Our cafe is open all year round, and is also available for group hire - birthday parties, anniversaries etc.
In addition to the café venue, we also have a large hall and meeting rooms which host inspiring, fun and educational events & workshops all year round. Riverside Community also has many beautiful outdoor spaces which are also utilized for events, including a stunning clear blue lake, and a central 'village green' which we call the Oval. This is where our hugely popular music festival is hosted annually.
