Learn to be resourceful by managing repurposed and recycled materials to create textile art with an emphasis on exploring techniques that can also be applied to creating light shades, baskets, sculptures, cushions and more. The choices are huge with your outcomes being totally unexpected and surprising.
This practical hands-on workshop is based around Maggy facilitating and challenging you in an environment that is encouraging and stimulating. Maggy will provide technical guidance and share her extensive knowledge of working with a range of unconventional and unusual textile media, fostering experimentation and growth in your personal art-making journey.
Suitable for beginners or for those who bring experience, wishing for an extension to their creative practice in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Two-day weekend workshop.
Maggy is an experienced tutor, she has a vast experience with many art and craft techniques. Maggy has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, including receiving several WOW awards.
