Brass Bands have long been associated with the armed forces and military operations. For generations brass players have performed in times of conflict to lift troops spirits and in moments of solemnity - and in doing so carry the torch for the men and women who served in the theatres of war. In this concert NBS Nelson City Brass aptly brings its broad array of ANZAC inspired music to the Nelson Cathedral under the direction of Nigel E. Weeks.
