Come celebrate the future of Aotearoa music right here in Whakatū! Tune Up will again transform Kirby Lane into an outdoor music hub with an amazing line up of rangatahi musicians.

Returning for its third year to kick off our 11 days of festival arts deliciousness, Tune Up will again be programmed in collaboration with the amazing folks of Nelson Youth Council and with tautoko from RockQuest (ngā mihi!).

Whakatū has a long history of the best rangatahi musicians and we’re thrilled to bring back this fabulous gig stretching across the evening celebrating all the incredible talent our young folks have to offer.

Are you keen to be part of Tune Up 2024?
We are looking for amazing youth bands and solo-performers, from singer-songwriters and DJs to full-piece bands who can perform a set of minimum 15 minutes (or more!). We look forward to hearing from you!
