Be transported from the Boat Shed Cafe to the Greek island of Naxos in this special opportunity to savour some of the dishes featured in what has been described as the “most delicious of novels”, The Secrets of the Little Greek Taverna, featuring Whakatū Nelson’s very own bestselling author and restauranteur Erin Palmisano. Chaired by Nicola Galloway.
Following its release in February – as Moa Press’s first fiction title to be released in 2024 - The Secrets of the Little Greek Taverna cemented its place in the NZ Fiction Bestseller List for months and has already been reprinted.
A story about finding friendship and love in the most unexpected of places, with a dash of magic thrown in, it is the first in a two-book deal for the debut author, who has merged her passions for food, wine and travel into a delightful tale that transports you to the fictional village of Potamia on the Greek island of Naxos.
In this special event, you will get the chance to enjoy shared food platters of food and sample local beverages, while hearing from the author, in conversation with fellow foodie Nicola Galloway, in between courses.
