Celebrating the 40th Swim Anniversary
Join us for the traditional race from the Nelson Yacht Club ramp to Tahunanui Beach, with a short option (1300m) starting from the Richardson St steps.

To mark this milestone, the first online paid entries will receive a limited edition towel and swim cap—supplies are limited, so act fast!

Race Day Schedule

8:45 am: Check-in opens
9:30 am: Check-in closes (no late entries)
9:35 am: Race briefing (ALL swimmers must be on the ramp and ready)
9:45 am: Race start (Long course)
10:15 am: Approximate start time for Short course (swimmers must attend the briefing at 9:35 am)
Race Options:

Long Course: 2km open water swim
Short Course: 1300m open water swim
