Bar-tailed godwits are summer visitors to New Zealand including Motueka but they do not breed here. Where do they come from? Where do they go to when they leave New Zealand?

Motueka Library welcomes David Melville who will speak about these extraordinary birds, some of the challenges they face from habitat loss and degradation, and encouraging efforts being made around the Yellow Sea to conserve the remaining habitat.
