Your guide to events in Nelson, New Zealand
Saturday 16th November 2024
John Massey, a valued tutor at Riverside for over six years, shares his expertise on edible weeds and their uses in this Spring Workshop, organised by Riverside Education.
As a master gardener, beekeeper, herbalist, and advocate for healthy living, John has explored various roles related to plants, prioritizing natural medicine and sustainability. Join him for a walk at Riverside Community to learn how to connect with nature and discover the nutritional and healing benefits of often-overlooked wild plants, like stinging nettle, red clover, and plantain.
As for all our workshops, registrations/bookings for this session is essential – please don't just turn up. Bookings close Thursday, 14th November at 2pm. Book here: https://www.riverside.org.n...
Please note: This workshop is weather dependent. Registered participants will be informed the day before if the workshop needs to be postponed. The postponement date is the 23rd of November.
This workshop is proudly sponsored by the Riverside Community Trust. Please contact Tanja (at education@riverside.org.nz) for workshop questions or to ask about sponsorship options.
