Lunasa is an earth-friendly festival of world music, workshops, dance, community, connections and inspiration. Enjoy an uplifting blend of multi-cultural music from outstanding live bands and musicians; balkan, celtic, latin, african, jazz, swing, blues, folk, roots, reggae, and improvised jam sessions.
Workshops include a range of interactive sessions relating to music, dance, creative arts, balfolk (old folk dances made new), cèilidh (irish & scottish dances), circus skills, yoga, qi gong, and other inspiring topics. Many sessions are also suitable for children.
Be nourished with healthy food & refreshments; find handmade arts, crafts, clothes and useful things in the market. The festival is non-alcohol and family-friendly.
Immerse in the beautiful environment at Canaan Downs – Pikikirunga. Spacious area for camping surrounded by native beech forest.
Pack out everything leaving no trace, no rubbish or recycling bins on site. Bring your own plate and cup for the cafes, no disposables or single use items.

Festival takes place on private land. Plenty of space for campervans, tents and parking. Bring sufficient cash, no eftpos. Mobile reception is very limited. This land is a natural outdoors environment and may not be suitable for access for all people.
Early birds until 1st December; Early advance admission passes until 15th January, Adult and Youth(14-18yrs) prices; children 13yrs & younger can attend for free.
