Join us at Motueka Library Te Noninga Kumu to celebrate International Day for Older Persons.
Enjoy a cuppa and refreshments over a chat, followed by a musical interlude.
International Day for Older Persons is celebrated on October 1 every year. The day is celebrated to spread awareness about the importance of Older Persons (or senior citizens) in our society and to appreciate their contributions.
The theme of the 2024 commemoration of International Older Persons Day is “Our Place” recognising the people and places which are important to us.
