Encouraged by the success of her first book ‘Being a Southern Woman’ Marg McCorkindale has just published her follow up in the Southern Woman series.

‘A Southern Woman goes to Town’ tells of the time when Marg and her husband left the farm life for a life in retail, namely the menswear shop ‘Saxony Downs’ in central Queenstown. 

These 13 stories follow the trials and tribulations of shifting from the country to the ‘big smoke’ and running a retail business. No two customers were the same and the subsequent experiences detailed in each chapter in the book will have you thoroughly entertained.
