Richmond Library - 'Te Mana Hā' Waiata Workshop and Concert

Saturday 21st September 2024

Please join us as we celebrate 'International Day of Peace' and 'Te Wiki o te Reo Māori'.

'Te Mana Hā' welcome all levels of singers and te reo ability to learn waiata during this two-hour workshop. 10.00am - 12.00pm. Registrations from 9.30am. Koha is welcomed.

This workshop will be followed by a concert by 'Te Mana Hā' at noon.

'Te Mana Hā' is a multiethnic group of wāhine who live, work and thrive in Whakatū. They are committed to learning Te Reo Māori. Waiata (song) has been a way of learning the language, connecting to each other, their whānau and community. The group is led by Maria Oxnam.
