NZ Youth Symphonic Wind Band is comprised of 50 of NZ's top youth musicians aged 14-18 years from all across Aotearoa coming together to perform.

This concert will showcase repertoire from our 2024 Winter Intensive workshop. These young musicians will have spent the previous week in rehearsals and workshops preparing for the concert, learning from professional musicians to bring a high quality musical event to Nelson.

The NZYSW is a national representative ensemble for young concert band players to develop their music skills and education. We come together twice a year to help foster an environment where young kiwis from all backgrounds and corners of the country can flourish, engage with other like-minded individuals, and gain exposure to top professionals in the music industry.
